I’m still slacking with consistency here, but whatever. I got to do something cool last night: DJed for the first time at one of my favorite spots, Westside Bowl. Selecting three hours of music from my vinyl collection was a lot of fun. I wanted to pick stuff that not only I liked, but that would likely go over pretty well for normies. I know the staff there has an eclectic taste in music.
It was my first time DJing and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Casey was super helpful and helped me learn how to use the mixer to jump from table to table. Nate hung around for a good portion of the night and appreciated my Suicidal Tendencies selection. I was a little nervous about torturing Jeremy too much as he’s the regular bar tender on Wednesday nights – and his band Lake Lake is pretty rad, you should check them out.
